Largo Medical Center is pleased to serve residents of Pinellas County with comprehensive adult inpatient services. Those who are 18 years or older who are experiencing a mental health crisis are encouraged to get help promptly. Our interdisciplinary team works closely with each patient to help them implement an effective therapy program. Within our structured setting, patients will receive 24-hour behavioral health monitoring, a comprehensive psychosocial assessment, crisis support, group therapy, individualized treatment planning, discharge planning, and much more. Our team members also provide family support and education, enabling family members to assist their loved ones when they return home.
If you or a loved one has been experiencing thoughts of suicide, thoughts of self-harm, grief and loss, anger, depression, or other mental health issues, we encourage you to get the help you need. The goal of our Behavioral Health Services department is to help individuals transition into the community with an improved mental well-being and the ability to manage symptoms.
